The People Behind the Service

Cooper Family Garage Doors is owned and operated by Craig and Kimber Cooper. We built this business on referrals from neighbors who trust us — and we intend to keep it that way. When you call, you reach us. When we show up, it's the same faces from our website, not a stranger in a logo'd shirt.

"Every door we service, we treat like it's on our own home. Every customer we meet, we treat like our own family. That's the only way we know how to do business."
— Craig Cooper
What We Do

Services

From emergency repairs to full installations, we cover every kind of garage door work across Orange County and the Inland Empire.

Hi, I'm Craig. My wife Kimber and I run Cooper Family Garage Doors right here in Southern California, and we built this company around a simple idea: treat every customer the way we'd want our own parents treated. When you call us for garage door repair in Orange County or anywhere across the Inland Empire, you get a real conversation with the people whose name is on the truck — not a dispatcher reading from a script. We show up on time, we tell you the truth about what your door needs, and we only install parts we'd put on our own home.

We started this business because we were tired of watching neighbors get pressured into expensive packages or paying premium prices for bottom-shelf parts. That's not how we do it. Honest diagnosis, fair pricing, quality product, clean work.

The Problems We Fix

Most of the calls we get sound familiar if you've lived in Southern California for a while. A spring snaps in the middle of the night and the door won't budge. The opener hums but nothing moves. A cable frays, a roller pops off the track, or the door comes down crooked after years of daily use. Our heat, our Santa Ana winds, and the salt air drifting inland all take their toll on hardware that most homeowners never think about until it fails.

Here are the issues we see most often in homes around Anaheim, Riverside, and the surrounding cities:

Whatever the symptom, we'll walk you through what's actually happening and what it will cost before we touch a wrench.

Why Families Choose Us

We earn referrals the old-fashioned way — by doing right by the last customer so they tell the next one. We're fully licensed and insured under CSLB #1153364, and every job is backed personally by Kimber and me. If something isn't right, you call us directly and we make it right. No hiding behind a call center, no finger-pointing between a subcontractor and an office.

That personal accountability is the whole reason we started Cooper Family Garage Doors. It's also why we still answer the phone ourselves, even on weekends.

Service Across Southern California

We cover all of Orange County and most of the Inland Empire, including San Clemente, Laguna, Huntington Beach, Coto de Caza, Irvine, Anaheim, Claremont, Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, Eastvale, Riverside, and Lake Elsinore, along with all the neighborhoods in between. Most of the time we can get a technician to your driveway the same day you call, and true emergencies — a door stuck open overnight or a spring that left your car trapped inside — move to the front of the line.

Give us a chance to earn your trust the way we've earned it from your neighbors. We think you'll be glad you called the Coopers.

Questions

Frequently Asked

What does a typical garage door repair cost in Southern California?
Most standard repairs — springs, rollers, cables, or opener fixes — fall between $150 and $450 including parts and labor. Larger jobs like full opener replacement or multi-panel repairs run higher, and we always quote the full price before we start work.
How long do most garage door repairs take?
The majority of repairs are done in about 60 to 90 minutes once we're on-site. More involved jobs like opener installs or track realignment usually wrap up within two to three hours.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Cooper Family Garage Doors is fully licensed and insured in California under CSLB #1153364, and we carry liability coverage on every job so you're protected from the moment we pull into the driveway.
What kind of warranty do you offer on parts and labor?
We back our labor with a one-year workmanship warranty and pass through the full manufacturer warranty on parts, which typically runs one year for door hardware and one year up to lifetime for motor parts depending on the component. If something we install fails early, we come back and fix it.
Do you offer emergency or same-day service?
We do. Same-day appointments are available across Orange County and the Inland Empire on most days, and we prioritize true emergencies like a door stuck open or a vehicle trapped in the garage.
